WPM secures Delta Group contract

NeilClark_WPM_BLOG.jpgPrint management specialist WPM Group recently cemented the expansion of its capabilities, securing a major contract with Delta Group to manage the company’s branded print, PPE and merchandise needs.

Delta Group includes eight individually operating entities, several of which sit under the Delta brand. WPM’s agreement with the national construction and demolition company was formalised in July 2014 and encompasses an up-to-$1 million annual spend.

“Delta Group identified a need to refresh its corporate branding in the market place, and increase human and cost efficiencies across all its marketing and branded products,” said Neil Clark, WPM Group CEO (pictured). “The challenges they described were common to many of our clients – namely, not enough control over branded item procurement, invoicing, stock monitoring, inventory, re-ordering, and returns.”

Clark said Delta had identified a loss of staff time as an area for improvement.

“Specifically, time wasted on rush re-ordering when stock levels were low, and loss of productivity in the invoicing and returns management process.”

WPM will support Delta through the brand refresh process, and the rollout of new brand collateral.

“Delta staff will be trained in the use of WPM’s online templates for ordering marketing collateral such as brochures, business cards, Letters of Offer, and the like,” said Clark. “The system ensures every single item ordered adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining quality and unity across all components of a business,” he said.

Clark said Delta was also looking forward to more powerful reporting capabilities and better utilisation of its human capital.

“We anticipate delivering up to 10% cost savings, as well as administrative reductions in the region of 40%, to the company across all its divisions in the coming year,” said Clark.

He said that this contract represents a shift in WPM’s capabilities, demonstrating the maturity of its system and supply chain, and tapping into its newer branded workwear and PPE lines.

“The addition of major clients such as Delta Group provides yet another increase in WPM’s buying power that we can share with our existing clients.”
