Community Newspaper Group’s Where’s Wally agency adventure hits town

WheresWally_BLOG_3.jpgWhere’s Wally wasn’t hard to find on Friday when 60 ad agency executives took on the challenge to compete in the Community Newspaper Group Amazing Agency Adventure.

The Amazing Agency Adventure dared the agency teams to race against the clock – and each other – to conquer a series of targeting trials produced and themed to Where’s Wally by professional events company ESP.

Dressed to fit the part the teams were ready and raring to go when the buzzer sounded outside the Community Newspaper Group Perth office.

Remember just how hard it was to spot Wally in the crowd? The Adventure reminded competing agencies that it was not enough to simply blanket content across WA. Only Community Newspaper Group delivers  content and advertising targeted and local for readers.  Community newspapers provide the unparallel advantage for agencies to connect with their audience by demographic, geographic, content and placement advertising targeting options anywhere across the Perth-Mandurah area. The desired consumer can easily be picked out of the crowd and targeted with advertisers’ messages.

The Adventure gave the Where’s Wally teams the chance to show off their own targeting prowess through the six testing trials. When the last team emerged triumphant at  7pm they were all treated to a congratulatory dinner at Lot 20 in Northbridge.

Proud winners from Initiative took home the glory of first place, followed by teams from OMD and The Brand Agency. No prizes were had for spotting Wally at the party!
