Sad news that Liz Langdon passed away yesterday morning after a six-month battle with cancer.
Though she maintained a low profile, Langdon was well known in media circles, having had a long career that included stints at BCY and Media Decisions (forerunner of today’s OMD).
Fellow media manager and friend Connie Phillips said those who knew her well loved her very much.

How very sad. Liz was such a lovely person who created an aura of calm around her and who put in many hard yards in the earlier days of BCY. Deepest condolences to her family.
Very sad indeed. Liz was one of the nicest people in our industry and went out of her way to help me during my early days in the industry. She will be sorely missed.
Completely in shock. Liz was a delight to work with and know. Always gentle, always helpful, always there. Vale Liz.
Im very proud to have known and worked with you from the time you arrived from Sydney at JMA Ogilivy & Mather to Media Decisions many years later. The industry and anyone you that had the priveldge of working with you are very lucky and blessed. I have had the great pleasure of knowing you Liz for over 20 years and worked with you for 10 of those years. You did not deserve any of the pain you went through, you are truely a wonderful person with so much to give personally and professionally and it has been my pleasure to have known you. You are a beautiful person inside and out who always helped others.
Be at peace and pain free.
I’m so sorry to hear the terrible news about Liz, she was a wonderful and warm hearted lady and great professional too. Praying for her and all the
