UPDATE: PERTH AWARD SCHOOL GRADUATION NOW FREE – THIS WEDNESDAY
Latest from AWARD:
“The News Limited AWARD School Graduation in Perth will now be free for all guests to attend.
AWARD applied the same ticketing price to all other states (all events have been packed), and perhaps assumed incorrectly that most creatives would be members of the PADC to which we were offering a $28.00 ticket. This would include a minimum of 3 hours of all you can drink wine, beer, sparkling and plenty of cocktail food.
The students need the industry there to support them and view their work, hence the decision.”
The essential details:
6.30pm,
Wednesday, 27 August 2008
The Vic Hotel
226 Hay Street,
SUBIACO

Hey CB. Now that this blog has become so powerful how about naming and shaming the CDs and seniors who don’t rock up?
Does one have to RSVP for entry? If so, how?
I’m pretty sure if you are in industry you can just rock up, but to be sure probably best to contact Hannah at AWARD on 02 9699 2999 or Hannah@awardonline.com
Well done all! With the CB blog leading the charge, they’re definitely on the back foot. The battle is won, but not the war. How about we go for broke and try to get AWARD to pay us to attend?
Cheapskate Perth creatives! And the ones crying the loudest probably all got their start in the industry through this course.
Gee here I was thinking it would be nice to go along and support Perth’s Creatives.
Not pay out on them…
Obviously I misunderstood the purpose of the evening.
People always have to find a way to have a sad…
Stop whingeing and don’t come if you aren’t a supporter.
Hey guys. Is this legit? I received an email stating it was $28 a ticket. I have sent a couple of comms to Hannah without any reply. Also checked the Award website and no mention there either.
CB – can you confirm we can just rock up?
Yes! There is no entry fee what so ever, it has been changed! If you work in industry you can come along tonight for FREE!
3:37, I haven’t heard back from Hannah either.
I’m just going to rock up – don’t know if I’ll be successful though, I’m not an agency creative, so I’ll probably look like some poor student enticed by the promise of free food.
