Two Moons unveils new look for pro bono client Diabetes Research Western Australia
The Diabetes Research Foundation of Western Australia has simplified its moniker and unveiled a new look thanks to Perth specialist digital marketing company Two Moons Consulting.
Two Moons took the group now known as Diabetes Research Western Australia under its wing two years ago, making it its charitable partner and beginning a pro bono campaign to increase traffic to its website and boost online donations.
Two Moons managing director Adam Donkin said he was excited the work had culminated in a fresh name, logo and website.
“Diabetes Research Western Australia is going from strength to strength in its bid to fund medical research that can support the search for a cure and better treatments for type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and they needed a modernised brand to continue their growth,” said Donkin.
“This more succinct name and updated, inspired look is symbolic of the group’s determination to make a difference in stemming the tide of diabetes and we’re thrilled to be part of that.”
Diabetes Research Western Australia executive director Sherl Westlund said she was extremely grateful to Two Moons for helping the charity create a strong new brand for the future.
“We’re excited about our new direction; we are attracting an unprecedented level of corporate and community support right now but we need to build on that even further given that 3.3 million Australians are tipped to be living with diabetes by 2031,” she said.
DRWA, based at Royal Perth Hospital, is the State’s longest running diabetes research funding group, having been established in 1976 to stimulate research into diabetes in Western Australia, has now raised and distributed more than $4.6 million dollars for this work.
