Perth-based digital agency Humaan picked up two Australian Web Awards at the national finals in Sydney last Friday. The awards follow on from the eight WA Web Awards earlier this month and reinforce Humaan’s emerging status as one of Australia’s leading agencies.

Humaan’s win in the eCommerce category for the Mainpeak website was the second successive win in eCommerce after winning for the Kosmic Sound website in 2012. The second award was in the Commercial category for the website for digital marketing agency Bonfire.

Creative Director, Jay Hollywood, said the awards reflected the commitment and dedication of the entire Humaan team.

“It was also a massive honour to be recognised for our commitment to high quality design and development that puts the human experience at the centre of everything we do. This is at the heart of the Humaan philosophy and credit goes to the entire team,” he said.

Hollywood and his partner, Karen Hollywood, founded Humaan three years ago and have since grown to a team of seven, with a range of clients in the US, UK, Middle East and throughout Australia.

Other award winners from Perth included Equilibrium for Get on Track Challenge (McFarlane Prize and Not for Profit), Clever Starfish for the Perth Theatre Trust (Culture & Events), and 303 Lowe and Clarity Communications for Celebrate WA (Social Media).
