Trilogy serves up new print campaign for KHQ
In a tough retail market, Trilogy Advertising has taken the art of selling kitchen appliance’s back to its roots with Rick Hart’s Kitchen Headquarters showroom. Created by Steve Browning and ECD Tony Williams, KHQ Kitchen Stories No. 1 is the first of a series of famous stories first created in the kitchen.
“If anyone has visited the Kitchen Headquarters showroom, they will fully understand that they have created a different concept with a very unconventional showroom that you would expect from a traditional appliance retailer,” said Williams. “We wanted to emulate that with an engaging read and bring back the significance of how the latest modern appliances we use today actually first began.”

Pretty pretty pretty…
The question is will it build a brand and will it sell a toaster? I am sure it will win an award. Nice looking work.
Time will tell but in the meantime I feel peckish
Nice work Steve !
Wow, beautiful. Craft in print is back, well done! Craig

I really don’t like the way the words “in style” start the text in the third column. Surely with a little editing this would have been better ending at the base of column two.
Ahhh Caslon Antique I’ve missed you. Seems like only yesterday you graced my student book with ye olde ways. Welcome back my old faithful friend.
Now that you mention it, is there a word missing between the end of column two and the start of column three?
Shouldn’t it read… “While the poor were eating whatever they could grow, poach, harvest or kill, the rich are in style”. Saying the “the rich are in style” just doesn’t sound right.
Maybe they were trying to do a little editing on the fly and it got lost?? Otherwise nice work for the category.
Love it!
While the poor were eating whatever they could grow, poach, harvest or kill, the rich ATE in style. (It’s ate, not are.)
It’s reads ‘ate in style’. Makes sense.
Love it. Really refreshing to see in this brand category.
Well written, well crafted, well done.
