AGENCY SALES EXECUTIVE – CHANNEL NINE PERTH

• Maximise revenue and share from your agency and client portfolio.
• Develop and execute an agency sales strategy to deliver YOY revenue, yield and share growth, including the creation and sale of premium sponsorships.
• Develop and foster commercially effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Actively promote the Nine Entertainment Co. brand by evangelizing our positioning in market. Be an exceptional day-to-day representative of the Network in your assigned agency portfolio.
• Be ready and willing to be part of an industry and organisation that is every-changing and growing, and be ready to adapt to this change as it unfolds.

Key Performance Indicators

Achieve Budget, Share and Yield targets within your agency portfolio.

• Maximise revenue volume and share within your agency territory, whilst improving yield.
• Understand and interpret agency territory, including historical clients and spends, actively drive revenue that delivers YOY volume, share and yield growth across your agency territory.
• Dissect weekly Adex reports for your agency, understand it and work with the agency to rectify share shortages based on negotiated deals.
• Effectively respond to briefs and negotiate volume, share and yield outcomes that deliver on agency targets – in conjunction with you Group Business Manager.
• Defend and retain strategically important business, as outlined in your GBM bottom’s up build / portfolio strategy.
• Attack and win new business
• Forecast weekly predicted revenue to come in the upcoming months

Contribute towards NEC premium revenue targets.

• Sell sponsorships, promotions, in-program activations and cross platforms executions to deliver commercially profitable outcomes for NEC.
• Align with Mi9 and Powered by Nine counterparts to deliver a profitable NEC outcome where relevant and applicable.
• Actively and proactively work with your GBM to grow this skill set.
• Up skill your coordinator in their capability to convert premium spot sales on your behalf.

Manage, mentor and train your coordinator.

• Manage and train your coordinator to ensure they are the best coordinator in your agency portfolio when compared to external competitors.
• Train your coordinator in media metrics; maths and lingo.
• Manage and up skill your coordinator to ensure they are fully prepared to take on all tasks required of them.
• Take an active role in the recruitment of a new coordinator if required.
• Lead and mentor your coordinator, acting as a guide and strong manager they can aspire to.

NEC Sales Brand Ambassador:

• Develop, maintain and foster commercially effective relationships with agencies that enable you to frequently and actively promote Channel Nine and Nine Entertainment Co. products and services.
• Ensure the promotion and enhancement of NEC’s good name and reputation.

Trusted, Passionate, Highly Effective and Actively Contributing member of the Channel Nine sales team.

• Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for our business and it’s future.
• Consistently seen as an active, positive, vocal and proactive sales person both internally and externally.
• Contribute ideas to the betterment of our organisation, via your GBM
• Implement process, system and performance standards with your assistant that ensures achievement of agreed targets.
• Be seen as a trusted member of our team.
• Actively promote transparency and collaboration whilst discouraging negativity and gossip. Do not stand for bullying in any way.

We require a minimum of 3 years full time experience within a sales or media organisation.

Your role

You will be working closely with creatives and directors to create incredible sound designs for all mediums. Casting & directing voice over talent to achieve the best result. Mixing and mastering sound designs for cut through on air.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a person who above all else possesses the creative flair that separates themselves from the pack. The person must also have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Exceptional Sound Design skills
• Experience in the advertising/marketing industries
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work in high pressure situations
• Understanding and/or experience in Sound design studio
• Experience with Casting/Directing Voice over talent
• Exceptional written and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

• Ability to create original music compositions

This role would ideally suit highly motivated and career driven individuals, looking to establish themselves in the exciting media industry. We welcome university graduates and candidates with 6-12 months experience.

This role supports the Direct Sales Team in the day-to-day co-ordination of advertising sales activities to ensure the effective operation of the business.
