ASSISTANT MEDIA MANAGER – LONGTAIL COMMUNICATIONS
The Assistant Media Manager will be responsible for working with the account service team to ensure interpretation of the client’s business objectives and challenges into a workable digital solution. The Assistant Media Manager is required to develop the strategy and plan whilst having input into the development of the actual media schedule to ensure alignment with the proposed strategy.
The ability to organise and manage multiple projects is essential as is being able to work with a team of people to meet deadlines. Close liaison is required with internal team members including creative, production and technical departments.
Principal Duties
- Review briefs provided by the account service team and develop an approach which meets the brief’s objectives.
- Undertake a review of the market, both competitors and publishers using media tools provided and ensure this information is integrated into the planning process.
- Assist with the development of client presentations as required to include rationale and screen shots of recommended media placements.
- Attend client meetings as required.
- Create media schedules.
- Liaise with publishers on campaigns both at planning stage and throughout the campaign period.
- Ensure campaigns are set up and ready to go live on the campaign commencement date.
- Develop campaign reports and provide relevant commentary that details campaign performance.
- Optimise a campaign as required.
- Monitor and manage media budgets for and on behalf of the client.
Experience and Skills
- 2-3 years of media planning and buying experience, preferably with at least 1 year focused in the online environment.
- Experience using media research tools.
- Highly organised, with the flexibility to manage and prioritise numerous projects at one time.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review reports and interpret results.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

MEDIA COORDINATOR – LONGTAIL COMMUNICATIONS
The role of Media Coordinator is integral within the Longtail team to ensure the delivery of campaigns for a client. This role requires close liaison with external publishers and the internal media team to ensure the dispatch of all advertising material following client sign off on creative. The media coordinator manages a campaign following client sign off including set up and dispatch of material using the ad serving tool, tracking and tags, day to day checking of the campaign including optimisation as required and reporting.
Principal Duties
- Campaign set up using the ad serving tool including creating and building campaigns and trafficking of material to publishers.
- Understand and implement as required the different methods of campaign targeting.
- Liaison with the creative/production/technical teams as required to set up a campaign correctly and ensure all assets are functioning correctly.
- Working with the internal media team to ensure a campaign is set up and running according to a booked schedule.
- Liaison with the account management team to ensure all tracking and tags are in place prior to the commencement of a campaign.
- Day to day monitoring of live campaigns to ensure they are running in accordance with a booked media schedule.
- Optimisation of a campaign as required.
- Preparation of campaign reports as required including creative comparisons.
- Act as the main point of contact with Sizmek to ensure our knowledge in campaign mechanics (ad formats, different methods of targeting etc) is leading edge.
Experience
- Experience utilising ad serving tools is preferable.
- Highly organised, with the flexibility to manage and prioritise numerous projects at one time.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review reports and interpret results.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

About the role
Supporting the Marketing and Partnerships team and the organisation to achieve outcomes within the strategic plan with particular reference to Anglicare WA brands, marketing and communication to stakeholders and advocacy.
Duties & Responsibilities
Below is a brief outline of some of the duties and responsibilities of the role:
- Develop, manage and evaluate the marketing and brand strategies as well as the communications and media strategies.
- Identify and create new marketing initiatives and marketing opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Media Strategy and Buying Agencies and key media outlets.
- Develop, manage and evaluate a proactive public relations strategy.
- Management of major marketing infrastructure including websites, social media platforms, marketing and brand related artwork.
- Provide strong, effective and highly visible leadership to the Marketing and Communications team.
Selection Criteria
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- High level of experience in, developing, managing and evaluating marketing and brand strategies.
- High level of experience in developing, managing and evaluating public relations strategies.
- High level of project management skills.
- Management experience providing strong and effective leadership.
- High level of experience in managing and directing advertising and promotional campaigns and activities for both traditional and social media.
- High level of experience in supplier negotiation and management.
- Creative and ideas driven person.
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and a current WA Driver’s Licence.

COMMUNITY AND PARTNERSHIPS COORDINATOR – WEST COAST EAGLES
The West Coast Eagles is a dynamic organisation that prides itself on its core values. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Community team in the role of Community and Partnerships Coordinator. Reporting to the Manager, Eagles in the Community the role will have a primary focus on developing and implementing the club’s community programs and managing the club’s charity partnerships. In addition the successful candidate will assist in the management of a portfolio of commercial partners. The core responsibilities of the role include:
Community Developments
Work closely with the Schools and Community Development team to ensure successful delivery of the clubs’ community programs.
Work closely with the Communications department to raise the awareness of the club’s community programs.
Assist with the development of new programs as determined by the Eagles in the Community team.
Charitable Partnerships
- Administer the club’s donation request program in accordance with the donation guidelines.
- Assist with ad-hoc charity/community opportunities.
- Manage the charitable partnerships and coordination and implementation of club fundraising activities.
Commercial Partnerships
- Assist with the day to day account management of the Principal Community partner and support partners to ensure the successful delivery of programmes and sponsor benefits.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial partners.
- Assist with ad-hoc commercial partner projects. This may include but is not restricted to marketing research, event activations, competitions, proposal and development.
- Development of the investment of each partner, ensuring timely and professional delivery of contracted benefits and 85% partner satisfaction each season.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills (both written and verbal, including high competence in public speaking and facilitating clinics and events), be well organised with the ability to plan and coordinate programs and clinics, be able to work independently and display a proactive, approachable, positive and enthusiastic attitude to work. Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a business related discipline will be highly regarded alongside strong computer skills and knowledge of the West Coast Eagles and the AFL.
There is a requirement for all full time staff to assist on match days and other events as required by the club, which includes weekends. The remuneration and benefits provided factor in this requirement.
