SALES ASSISTANT – NETWORK TEN PERTH

Network Ten has an opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join the Sales Team in our Perth office. This is a full time permanent position.

With a fantastic line up of new shows such as I’m a Celebrity get me out of here, Shark Tank and Gogglebox all performing exceptionally well, Network Ten continues to increase our targeted market share and is the place to be in 2015!

Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with agency clients and managing their bookings, confirmations, queries and activities.
  • General office administration including data entry and report preparation.
  • Resolving issues and managing client expectations.
  • Establishing and maintaining solid professional relationships with key agency personnel and internal groups.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • A customer-focused sales orientated approach to meeting client expectations.
  • Excellent organisational & communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Computer literacy with Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

DIGITAL DESIGNER/ FRONT END DEVELOPER – RARE

Nestled within the comfortable surroundings of one of Perth’s leading advertising agencies sits Rare Digital. We a 8 person team of passionate digital experts on the cusp of great things. We work across everything from online advertising campaigns to large scale websites for national companies. Only one things is missing from our creative team…YOU.

You are a passionate digital designer with a love of the arts. You are a very good communicator and whilst you can work autonomously on projects, you also love working as part of a small creative team. You might have been called a web designer or a front end developer in a previous life. You have a great attention to detail and a fondness for front-end finesses. You understand how to take a brand or a campaign and extend it online. On your bedside table you might have a stack of ‘A Book Apart’ books including Responsive Web Design, CSS3 for Web Designers and HTML5 for Web Designers…and maybe something like Monster Children magazine. You like all design but have a secret love for minimalist design and typography.

Reporting to the Digital Creative Director, you’ll be working within cross functional teams of developers, designers, and strategists in concert with offline advertising people to create beautiful digital solutions for local and national. You’ll be expected to own projects from day one, get involved with internal side projects, and contribute to internal discussions on web design.

Core Responsibilities

You’ll find yourself in a position where you’ll…

  • Collaboratively work with a small team of developers and designers
  • Be happy to take ownership of producing sketches, wireframes and building iterative prototypes.
  • Build amazing looking responsive websites that work cross-browser and cross-device.
  • Utilise best practice UX
  • Contribute to idea generation sessions and project briefings.
  • Juggle multiple projects at once with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Have a strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design

Qualifications

Along with a love of digital tech, the following will come in handy…

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional HTML5, CSS3, Javascript & SASS
  • PHP a must
  • Strong design skills (and a master in Photoshop)
  • Good working knowledge across the whole Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong UX/UI experience
  • A can do attitude

Bonus Stuff…

Your ‘may have’ other skills – not essential but we’d like to know if you can:

  • Do some motion design in PSD and AE
  • Develop flash banners
  • Take nice photos (with a DLSR camera)
  • AngularJS experience
  • Front end build tools (gulp, grunt, bower, npm)
  • Alternate front end templating frameworks (EJS, Jade, HAML, ERB)

Network Ten Perth has a fantastic opportunity for a Publicity and Marketing Executive .The successful applicant must have publicity or relevant experience; have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines, show initiative, creativity and work well autonomously and within a local and national team environment. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of targeted local publicity plans in line with a national strategy for publicising and profiling programs and associated talent, with local marketing and sponsorship activation required as an integral part of the role.

You will have a passion for television viewing and be media savvy. Your sound ability to build and strengthen relationships with key local media is paramount. Ideally you will have gained your relevant work experience within a media or entertainment environment.
