DIGITAL CONTENT PRODUCER, PERTH – NOVA ENTERTAINMENT

We’re looking for a full time digital professional to fill the role of Digital Content Producer, in a position with a 6 month contract available.

You’ll be responsible for the creation, production and execution of audio, visual, interactive and editorial content for the Nova Entertainment websites and social media presences and all other relevant digital platforms in order to entertain, attract and retain users for the Nova Entertainment brands.

The gig:

You’ll work with digital content team, station programmers, producers and on air personalities to create and publish compelling, entertaining and engaging content for Australia’s fastest growing music and entertainment site.

Your skills:

  • Ability to create and publish multimedia content, including video, audio, galleries and articles.
  • Ability to write web friendly copy with an understanding of SEO principles along with excellent grammar and spelling.
  • Advanced knowledge of best practice cross-media production techniques including new media usability principals and deliver content to correct specifications.
  • Ability to generate social engagement, and knowledge in community management and social media best practices.
  • A working knowledge of design with experience in Photoshop.
  • Understanding of HTML required for content publishing.
  • Previous use of Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Experience with Final Cut Pro X is desirable.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Your experience:

We need someone with extensive experience in producing compelling content for online.  A background in digital media: mobile, social, television or online – ideally, you’ll have done it for five years plus. An overall love of all things digital is essential.

This role demands a high-energy professional, who is a self-starter and bursting with talent. Based in our Perth office, you’ll be working with a dynamic team of likeminded individuals who innovate on a daily basis and know how to have fun.

You’ll need to be available to start in the role from February 2015.

CAMPAIGN MANAGER (X 2) – TOURISM WA

Tourism WA is responsible for supporting the development of Western Australia’s $8 billion tourism industry. As State Government agency we work in close partnership with both the tourism industry and other government agencies. We aim to increase tourism numbers by marketing Western Australia as a competitive destination; developing, attracting and marketing major events; and supporting significant tourism infrastructure development.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for two (x2) Campaign Managers – one is a permanent full-time positon; one is a 12 month maternity leave backfill (with possibility of extension). Please indicate in your application if you have a preference.

Position Description

As a self-motivated professional you will work with the Manager Campaign Services and other divisions, in developing Tourism WA’s marketing campaigns along with all the other supporting marketing collateral required to promote this extraordinary state of WA. Please see attached JDF for a full outline of duties.

What We Want From You

You will have a proven track record and extensive, hands on experience in marketing, including demonstrated experience and skills in the following:

  • Project management and development and implementation of campaigns
  • Review and utilisation of campaign and market research to assist in setting campaign objectives, reporting objectives and developing briefs for campaigns
  • Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on campaign progress and evaluation to internal clients and key stakeholders, including senior management
  • Providing marketing services to internal clients to assist them in achieving their business objectives
  • Effective consultation and liaison with key internal and external stakeholders, advertising creative and media buying agencies, industry and other parties to maximise effectiveness of campaigns
  • Management and coordination of the creative production and media buying activities with advertising agencies and other suppliers
  • Developing and coordinating co-marketing opportunities
  • Assisting with ensuring the integration (when necessary) of marketing channels in campaigns
  • Monitoring and reporting on campaign budget expenditure
