THE CHANCE OF A LIFETIME IN DIGITAL MEDIA – CARAT

As a Digital Executive you’ll be responsible for the implementation and buying of media activity on behalf of some of Australia’s most successful clients. You’ll help to develop strategic channel plans that challenge the mundane and predictable. You’ll report to the Digital Account Manager and will be supported by a Digital Co-ordinator. Role Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Australian digital media marketplace
  • Demonstrate experience and confidence in negotiating and buying a range of online media
  • Use DFA to set up, traffic, report, optimize and test bookings and creative material
  • Demonstrate competence in the use of Ad Relevance and Google Insights to report and provide insights into the competitive environment
  • Prepare reports including tracking, post campaign and competitive analysis
  • Compare media plans with actual execution, delivery against goals and objectives, and assist in developing standard campaign benchmarks
  • Evaluate media opportunities and provide recommendations to clients
  • Prepare planning documents for small to medium sized briefs, brief media partners and develop and maintain media schedules
  • Work with your Digital Manager to develop client media strategies
  • Work with media and production agencies to ensure the timely delivery of material
  • Manage budget reconciliations and address any account queries
  • To up-skill your Digital Coordinator to ensure his/her development

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective time management
  • To enjoy working as part of a team
  • Comprehensive use and understanding of digital media maths and terminologies
  • Understand the importance of deadlines and have a strong ability to multi-task
  • Must have advanced office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)

PROJECT COORDINATOR, COMMUNICATIONS & ENGAGEMENT – CURTIN UNIVERSITY

This position is key to the development and implementation of student engagement and retention strategies. It will help deliver on this wider transformational vision. 

We are on the hunt for a superstar communications and content specialist who is just as comfortable building strategies as they are creating and editing web content.

Due to the nature of the project we need someone who is up for a challenge and really ready to hit the ground running.

Specific duties may include:

  • Preparation, planning and implementation of communication strategies
  • Development and writing of communication guidelines and training of staff
  • Management of social media and strategic communications projects
  • Research and development of customer journeys
  • Sourcing students and staff for initiatives such as videos, photos, focus groups etc.
  • Coordination of meetings
  • Planning documentation
  • Administration
  • Creating and editing web content
  • Other duties as required.

Work Requirements

  • Completion of a relevant degree
  • 3 years+ experience in a communications and/or similar project role
  • Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills with a cross-cultural sensitivity and awareness
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and work as part of team
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, work under pressure and have a flexible attitude
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients and staff across all levels of an organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under supervision, and at times independently, using initiative to resolve issues in a team-based, customer-focused environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to applying relevant and applicable policies, procedures and legislation in the day-to-day performance of the function of the position.

Salary Range

$72,800 – $86,365 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience.

COMMUNICATIONS PLANNER / BUSINESS MANAGER – OMD WA

An opportunity has arisen for a Communication Planner to
join the vibrant client service team of OMD WA working on one of Western Australia’s largest national clients.

 

As a Communication Planner you will be responsible for the origination of the media plan for all platforms including online and search, management of the implementation process, client relationship management, competitive reviews and preparing buying briefs.
