COMMUNICATION PLANNER – OMD WA
An opportunity has arisen for a Communication Planner to join the vibrant team as part of the implementation planning and client service hub of OMD WA.
As a Communication Planner you will be responsible for the origination of the media plan for all platforms including online and search, management of the implementation process, client relationship management, competitive reviews and preparing buying briefs.
This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your knowledge of the media industry in a friendly, busy and fast paced environment and to succeed in the position you will need:

About you:
Most importantly, you will be resilient, energetic and driven to succeed in a fast changing, high performance culture. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional sales ability and a strong track record of account management and people management skills, attention to detail and account planning (with CRM compliance).
In addition, you will have experience of, and relationships with, advertising agencies and state govt, preferably in WA. Print and digital media experience will be considered favourably but not essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dual lines of budget responsibility to both WA (The Sunday Times & PerthNow) plus a national target for News Corp network products across press and newsstand magazines
- Development of commercial initiatives to take to market, working closely with internal stakeholders across editorial, marketing, production and circulation
- Liaison with national sales teams to influence national revenue bookings into The Sunday Times
- Motivation and support to a team of 8 including Account Managers and Coordinators

DIRECT/AGENCY SALES COORDINATOR – FAIRFAX RADIO 6PR & 96FM
Maternity Leave Contract
Fairfax Radio Network is part of the Fairfax Media Group and consists of a national Network of News Talk and Music format stations. The National News Talk Network is comprised of Melbourne’s 3AW, Sydney’s 2UE, Brisbane’s 4BC and Perth’s 6PR. The national music Network consists of Melbourne’s Magic, Brisbane’s Magic 882 and Perth’s 96fm. The Fairfax Radio Network also represents Adelaide’s News Talk station 5AA to National Advertisers.
Fairfax Media operates Radio 6PR and 96FM in Perth. An exciting and challenging position now exists in our Sales team. We are seeking applicants for a full time (8.30 am – 5.00 pm) Sales Coordinator for Maternity Leave contract until March 2015.
Ideally this position will suit a person who has a keen interest in the Radio Industry and is looking for a long term career in Sales.
Successful candidates should possess the following attributes:

- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

Key responsibilities of this role are: (but not limited to)

- Maintain client lists and contact details.
- Answering incoming calls and maintaining email accounts.
- Attend and assist with Sales functions (these may at times be outside normal working hours).
