MEDIA PLANNER/BUYER – GATECRASHER
Gatecrasher Advertising is looking for a media executive who wants to extend their channel planning and buying skills. This is not an entry level role so we are looking for someone with 2 to 3 years experience within a similar role and you must have a strong understanding and appreciation of the digital space.
Other key skills we will be looking for include:
• Oral and written presentation skills;
• Outstanding analytical and numerical skills;
• Organisational skills; and
• Ability to work under pressure.Your key duties will involve:
• Managing and coordinating client’s media budgets;
• Providing input on communication strategy as part of an overall marketing solution;
• Development of media plans;
• Channel research and recommendations;
• Reporting, monitoring and optimising campaigns;
• Online trafficking using Media Mind;
• Google Analytics;
• Evaluation of media opportunities; and
• Helping to build the digital profile of Gatecrasher.

CUSTOMER SOLUTIONS MANAGER – NEWS CORP AUSTRALIA

The Role:
As the successful Customer Solutions Manager, you will execute and implement national insights and trade marketing strategies within the state across all categories that will support product development and execution to the advertising department and the wider WA business.
You will liaise with key editorial and marketing stakeholders through development of product strategies and execution. You will also conduct market, competitor, media and environmental analysis to stay abreast of any trends that may impact the business, whilst interpreting client and agency media briefs to propose strategic sales solutions for multiple platforms and tailor national strategies to suit their needs.
Analysing and disseminating commercial business insights to the Advertising Sales team, highlighting potential strategic and commercial applications to the business will be a daily requirement along with the responsibility for trade marketing activity across all categories within the state and manage the development of high quality local trade marketing collateral to suit customer and state needs
Whilst this role will see you work at a strategic, more senior level there will be occasions where you will roll up your sleeves to be involved in the day to day insights work.
You will have one direct report, who will be responsible for providing sales collateral, incorporating insights and trade event management and implementation.
About you:
To enjoy success in this role you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification (Ideally within Strategy/Insights/Trade marketing). You will currently be a successful Customer Insights Manager with strong sales/leadership exposure. Your leadership & communication skills will be second to none and your analytical thinking will play a massive part in your success. You will also be able to manage and prioritise large amounts of active tasks.
The understanding of trade & insights will be second nature to you and the ability to provide insights at a strategic level will be what excites you.
Exposure to the Media industry will be a great advantage.

About The Role:
In this business critical role you will report directly to the Customer Solutions Insights Manager and generate insights and effectively communicate market research to the advertising sales and senior management leadership team.
You will:
- Provide market ready sales arguments and analysis to aid in the delivery of the sales team’s cross platform strategic objectives.
- Drive the business’ understanding of our digital platforms and proactively provide insights and analysis for use in sales proposals.
- Provide state competitive media analysis in support of the organisation’s revenue objectives and in order to lift market share.
- Identify marketing opportunities by analysing and understanding the audience trends of the multi-platform brand performance.
- Monitor the relevance, accuracy and presentation of research data to ensure the sales team is maximising advertising revenue opportunities.
- Utilise data, research findings and sales arguments to support the local trade marketing function.
- Use syndicated research to create compelling sales arguments in particular digital insights.
- Conduct primary research including survey design, implementation and data analysis where appropriate.
- Demonstrate awareness of strengths and limitations of different research sources and different research methodologies.
- Assist with updating trade marketing collateral.
About you:
With your proven experience working within an Insights Analyst role you will be a natural analytical thinker and demonstrate a clear passion for working with digital applications. You will be a team player who understands the importance of analytics in the sales arena and accustomed to high volumes of quality output. You will be a self-motivated worker who is able to make systematic and rational inferences based on the relevant information to hand.
Minimum of 1 years experience working in an Analyst role or similar.
A sound understanding of digital analytics tool such as Nielsen Market, EMMA Intelligence / Site Census / Unica NetInsight or Google Analytics are essential.
