The successful applicant will work closely with Sales Managers, Account Managers and Content Teams to develop successful advertising strategies for our clients. This critical and multi-faceted role will see you responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to:

  • Uncover and understand our client’s marketing challenges and communications strategies to provide the best possible solutions.
  • Oversee the development of multi-channel communications solutions that complement and magnify our client’s strategies
  • Engage relevant SCA resources including research, creative, production, interactive, content and activation teams in order to produce the best possible advertising package.
  • Develop strong relationships with senior decision makers in agencies and clients, and leverage these relationships to uncover business opportunities and help SCA get ‘upstream’
  • Assist Account Managers to package and pitch more effectively.

To be considered for this position, it is expected that applicants have at least 3 – 5 years experience within a media agency, media owner or client. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in formulating campaign strategies as well as possessing a working understanding of media agencies, their relationship with clients and media.

We’re looking for an experienced Flash/ActionScript (AS3) Developer to create banner campaigns and online projects. You’re interested in HTML5 animation opportunities and looking towards new technologies to deliver accessible digital marketing.

• Expert knowledge of Flash Animation and ActionScript 3

• Experience with HTML, CSS & Javascript

• Interest in HTML based animation software such as Adobe Edge

• Knowledge of Media/Ad tracking

• Experience in optimizing the bejesus out of a banner to hit media specifications

• Knowledge of rich media and publisher formats

PROJECT & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER – POTATO MARKETING CORPORATION

•  Maternity Leave Contract start ASAP to 28 Mar 2014

•  Hamilton Hill Location – onsite parking

•  Part time 2 days per week $30-$35/hr + Super

The Potato Marketing Corporation is looking for a Project and Administration Officer for 2 days per week (flexible hours and days) to cover a maternity leave contract. The contract is to commence as soon as possible and finish on 28th March 2014.

The Potato Marketing Corporation manages the Fresh Potatoes campaign. The campaign includes TV, Digital, Point of Sale, Schools and Chef Ambassadors.

Duties to include but are not limited to:

Budget Management

  • Reporting on expected cash flow and budget against forecast weekly to Marketing Manager
  • Instruct PMC finance team on invoicing requirements for the campaign
  • Advise PMC of Accounts Payable’s and coding after approval from Marketing Manager or CEO

Contracts

  • Writing of all service contracts required for campaign
  • Management of all contracts including KPI’s and key deadlines

Seed for Schools

  • Assist the Brand Manager with management of project
  • Liaison with schools to commence activities
  • Coordination of packs to despatch to schools
  • Monthly newsletter to schools regarding activities
  • Communications and responses to schools over project
  • Coordination of marketing team for PR activities

Food Service Campaign

  • Coordination of information to Potatodors and requests and other Food Service stakeholders
  • Assist Marketing Manager with Variety Testing to be used for chefs
  • Assist Brand & Marketing Manager with collation of new promotional materials, work with designers and printers to ensure deadlines are adhered to
  • Assist Panorama with organisation of Sundowner on 10 Feb 2014, specifically coordination of industry attendees (growers, industry leaders, chefs, stakeholders)

General Admin

  • Coordinate requests for potatoes and request for sponsorships
  • Coordinate requests for point of sale materials
  • Coordinate design and printing as required for each project
  • Assist with website, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest content as required
  • Send out monthly PMC Grower Update via Campaign Monitor
  • Assist the marketing team with any IT queries and liaise with Katharyn at PMC to ensure requests are carried out     
  • Other activities as required by Brand Manager & Marketing Manager

Customer Service

  • Response to industry queries from general public and trade

We have an upcoming full time permanent job for an Assistant Designer/Art Worker to help within an in-house catalogue department, working alongside the Marketing Manager/Senior Designer for a manufacturing company south east of the river. Salary will range from $35-45K, based on experience. The work involves art working existing products such as monthly specials, brochures, instructions and simple packaging (all following existing tight brand guidelines), whilst being able to display your creative flair when needed, working independently from loose creative briefs.
