FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER – SLICK DESIGN

A boutique studio with a global mind-set, we are a team of fast-paced, highly driven creatives with a focus on cutting edge design.

We are looking for an experienced web developer with the passion and enthusiasm to undertake a broad range of projects across a variety of industries. The position will be responsible for the development of websites (desktop and mobile optimised), EDMs (table-based layouts) and social media apps (mainly iFrame based) – all with cross-browser and device support.

The successful candidate will be able to understand a brief, work from custom-created designs and manage projects from conception to launch within specified time frames. You must also be confident in liaising directly with clients in a courteous, professional manner, and constantly strive to push technological boundaries within the industry.

Essential skills:

•  Minimum 1 years experience

•  HTML5 and CSS3

•  JavaScript (mainly jQuery)

•  CMS Experience (particularly WordPress and ExpressionEngine)

•  Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)

•  Great communication skills and a team attitude

Advantageous

•  PHP and MySQL

•  Graphic/Digital design skills

SPOTLIGHT ROLES OF THE WEEK

We have a number of roles on offer from Digital Producer, Project Manager and Account Manager positions, through to front end and back end coding, web development and web design. There are opportunities for designers who are also savvy in Social Media Management (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+), MailChimp, WordPress and HTML – plus programmers and developers in areas such as PHP/Joomla/Ruby on Rails. Some positions are part time (1-3 days a week) and others are full time permanent or freelance (both in-house and remote). If you have experience in SEO, SEM, EDM, CMS, front end web design, banner display campaigns, managing websites/microsites, fixing CMS bugs, or handling front-end and light back end code (including PHP, Ruby and other common languages) then these roles may suit you.
