ONLINE MARKETING SALES/ACCOUNT MANAGER – VORIAN AGENCY
Vorian Agency is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales/Account Manager.
The Role:
You will be required to generate new business over all of our services, meet monthly and annual sales targets and develop a sales pipeline. Appointments and inbound leads will be provided but you will still need to generate your own leads by cold calling and networking. There will also be a component of Account Management, have an ability to handle difficult situations and problem resolution is a required task whilst maintain a pleasing disposition and positive attitude. The perfect candidate will not only have a proven track record in sales and meeting targets and demonstrate a strong selling ability, but in addition possess knowledge in all facets of online marketing including SEO and SEM.
Excellent phone, e-mail and face to face client services is essential. A strong skill set in prompt and effective communication, task completion, and high proficiency in all office professional skills is required. Salesmanship teamed with a business to business sales solution, identifying ad-on sales areas and the ability to match client needs to sales solutions and close is a must.
To be successful in this role you must be:
- Presentable and likable
- Motivated to achieve targets and be rewarded
- Open to direction
- Interested in and have experience in the digital/online arena
- An excellent communicator with follow up skills - Good with computers especially in Excel and Outlook
- Outgoing and a team player
Whilst we offer complete product and service training it is essential that you have a base understanding of the online environment and a keen interest in this area. A current valid driver’s license and reliable car are necessary for this role. A generous uncapped commission and bonus structure is in place.

PRINCIPAL COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER – COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING,
DEPARTMENT OF MINES AND PETROLEUM

The position
Reporting to the Manager Communications, the Principal Communications Officer is responsible for maintaining and pro-actively promoting the Department’s external profile and objectives through effective media management and liaison, generating and responding to media opportunities.
As a member of the communications and marketing team, this role has a shared responsibility to write and edit Departmental communications materials, use own initiative to monitor media for potential or actual contentious issues, proactively develop and implement internal and external communication strategies, programs and promotions and provide high level strategic advice to General Manager, Communications and Marketing and the Manager Communications as well as senior executives.
A key component of this role is to research and draft high quality speeches and presentations for the Minister and Departmental Executives.
Job Requirements/Capabilities
To undertake this role successfully you require:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or considerable media and public relations experience.
• Demonstrated journalism experience including research, interviewing, writing, editing, proofreading and speechwriting.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing public relations and communication strategies.
• Previous experience in Government and/or writing for the resources sector would be highly regarded.
