Network 10 – Sales Assistant

We’re now looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to support our high performing and energetic Sales team in Perth.

Purpose of the role:
The Sales Assistant role is responsible for maintaining all aspects of account management support and providing timely and accurate information to the Sales team and their clients, working collaboratively with both external and internal stakeholders.

What you’ll do as a Sales Assistant:
• Daily servicing of advertising client schedules across multiple platforms (linear, digital and VOD) and booking commercial schedules
• Manage advertisers’ sponsorships to ensure that all marketing elements are properly booked
• Develop strong understanding of Network 10’s products and solutions for advertisers
• Support and enhance agency relationships by monitoring requests and ensuring commercials spots are booked according to guidelines
• Generate and deliver billing reports and other ad-hoc reports as required
• Resolve billing discrepancies to ensure timely payment
• Participate in post analysis of campaigns
• Participate in projects, preparation of sales materials, and perform other duties as assigned

What are we looking for? What’s essential?
• Experience in a similar B2B sales environment preferred
• A customer-focused, sales orientated approach to meeting client expectations
• Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
• Detail oriented, organised, flexible, timely and accurate
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and meet deadlines
• Exceptional interpersonal skills

Extra brownie points for:
• Previous media experience would be great, but not essential
• Exposure to IBMS and/or Salesforce systems would be an advantage

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role in media sales
• IBMS and Mediawise software knowledge is preferable

• Demonstrated account management skills with great reputation with agencies
• Ability to pull together a business plan and execute strategic priorities to grow revenue and share
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• High level of detail, flexibility, time management and accuracy

303 MullenLowe – Media Manager

This Media Manager role at 303Mullenlowe Perth is responsible for actively and diligently managing the day-to-day relationship, media planning and delivery outputs for a number of the agencies most important local and national clients. Ensuring that all client activity is delivered on time, to budget, to the highest possible standard of service and most importantly – delivers outcomes that positively impact the client’s business.

Reporting into the Media Director, you will develop an understanding of the clients’ marketing objectives and communications and media strateigies, devising innovative media approaches to deliver against these. This role requires a strong understanding of digital and social media as well as broadcast media, including TV. You will be supported in this role by the broader Perth and global 303ML Media team comprising of media, search, performance marketing & data experts.

Detailed Role Responsibilities:
• Media Strategy & Planning
• Coordinate the agency’s response to media briefs, across the full range of media channels, developing innovative and industry leading media plans for all clients
• Use a variety of data sources and research techniques to develop a deep understanding of your clients’ brands, competitive contexts and their target audiences’ attitudes and behaviours in relation to media
• Continually push the bar for more creative, innovative media solutions
• Suggest and introduce relevant media and marketing technologies that can help gain clients’ a competitive edge

Leadership
• Set and manage expectations of clients and internal teams, ensuring 303ML has the optimal time to deliver high quality outputs and are consistently seeking ways to improve service delivery for clients
• Provide consistent and effective support to the Media Director, manage up and escalate issues as appropriate
• Lead meetings, be active in and add value to every discussion with a client

Innovation & Initiative
• Establish an understanding of all areas of the agency’s expertise, and the products and services we can provide to clients
• Be at the forefront of media industry developments across all channels, maintaining critical vendor relationships that support this understanding
• Continually seek, develop and deploy better ways of working

Excellence in Client Service
• Work to understand your client’s pressures and internal demands to ensure 303ML is responding to their needs and shaping our service delivery around them
• Establish a high level of trust with clients
• Have a solid understanding of 303ML’s disciplines, ensuring that you never send on information that you do not fully understand yourself
• Ensure the agency’s output is always of the highest quality

Professional Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of client financials including budgets, reconciliation, invoicing and revenue forecasting
• Be an excellent communicator in all forms
• Meet commitments and complete tasks within agreed timeframes
• Safeguard proprietary information of clients and 303ML
• Proactively contribute to a positive team atmosphere and company culture

People Management
• Develop the skills and knowledge of the Media Coordinators & Executives and other junior team members through mentoring, supervision and continual provision of feedback
• Delegate tasks and workload as appropriate

Skills & Requirements
• Significant experience in media planning, buying and delivery (min 3 years)
• Digital Media experience is critical (including tagging and adserving technology, social media buying platforms)
• Solid understanding of online and offline media planning processes
• Extensive knowledge of industry tools and research techniques
• A working knowledge of ad tech including ad-servers, bid management tools and DSPs
• A basic knowledge of big data and digital analytics tools and platforms
• Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills
• Experience in nurturing junior talent
• Impeccable organizational skills, comfortable with multitasking and running multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners and internal specialist resources
