Assembly + Co – Project Marketing Lead

Assembly + Co. is seeking an ambitious entrepreneurial leader with a passion for delivering unexpected project solutions instead of routine outcomes.

The Project Marketing Lead will be a leader in a team of multi-disciplinary marketers, driving the process from conceptualisation to implementation across projects, precincts and products.

The role will focus on strategy development and project delivery across key accounts. This involves working with brand and creative agencies, market research, media planning and communications.

Key Qualifications
• You have 6-8+ years’ experience in client services within a creative agency or as a client-side marketing professional
• You are an analytical problem solver with a track record of success in developing strategy and managing the delivery of brand and campaign solutions for clients
• You have a comprehensive understanding of and exposure to all facets of the marketing mix to deliver integrated marketing and communications solutions for clients
• You possess extraordinary communication and presentation skills and can deliver impactful presentations at all levels of an organisation
• You work collaboratively under pressure, with experience working on complex, time-critical projects with small to large scale budgets
• You contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, constantly evolving environment and are willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle whatever task is necessary
• You create, build and cultivate positive interpersonal relationships, are flexible in nature, able to tackle challenges and even keep a sense of humour
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver projects, priorities, schedules and deliverables.

This role can be a flexible part-time and/or full-time opportunity for an experienced professional.

303 MullenLowe – Media Manager

This Media Manager role at 303Mullenlowe Perth is responsible for actively and diligently managing the day-to-day relationship, media planning and delivery outputs for a number of the agencies most important local and national clients. Ensuring that all client activity is delivered on time, to budget, to the highest possible standard of service and most importantly – delivers outcomes that positively impact the client’s business.

Reporting into the Media Director, you will develop an understanding of the clients’ marketing objectives and communications and media strateigies, devising innovative media approaches to deliver against these. This role requires a strong understanding of digital and social media as well as broadcast media, including TV. You will be supported in this role by the broader Perth and global 303ML Media team comprising of media, search, performance marketing & data experts.

Detailed Role Responsibilities:
• Media Strategy & Planning
• Coordinate the agency’s response to media briefs, across the full range of media channels, developing innovative and industry leading media plans for all clients
• Use a variety of data sources and research techniques to develop a deep understanding of your clients’ brands, competitive contexts and their target audiences’ attitudes and behaviours in relation to media
• Continually push the bar for more creative, innovative media solutions
• Suggest and introduce relevant media and marketing technologies that can help gain clients’ a competitive edge

Leadership
• Set and manage expectations of clients and internal teams, ensuring 303ML has the optimal time to deliver high quality outputs and are consistently seeking ways to improve service delivery for clients
• Provide consistent and effective support to the Media Director, manage up and escalate issues as appropriate
• Lead meetings, be active in and add value to every discussion with a client

Innovation & Initiative
• Establish an understanding of all areas of the agency’s expertise, and the products and services we can provide to clients
• Be at the forefront of media industry developments across all channels, maintaining critical vendor relationships that support this understanding
• Continually seek, develop and deploy better ways of working

Excellence in Client Service
• Work to understand your client’s pressures and internal demands to ensure 303ML is responding to their needs and shaping our service delivery around them
• Establish a high level of trust with clients
• Have a solid understanding of 303ML’s disciplines, ensuring that you never send on information that you do not fully understand yourself
• Ensure the agency’s output is always of the highest quality

Professional Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of client financials including budgets, reconciliation, invoicing and revenue forecasting
• Be an excellent communicator in all forms
• Meet commitments and complete tasks within agreed timeframes
• Safeguard proprietary information of clients and 303ML
• Proactively contribute to a positive team atmosphere and company culture

People Management
• Develop the skills and knowledge of the Media Coordinators & Executives and other junior team members through mentoring, supervision and continual provision of feedback
• Delegate tasks and workload as appropriate

Skills & Requirements
• Significant experience in media planning, buying and delivery (min 3 years)
• Digital Media experience is critical (including tagging and adserving technology, social media buying platforms)
• Solid understanding of online and offline media planning processes
• Extensive knowledge of industry tools and research techniques
• A working knowledge of ad tech including ad-servers, bid management tools and DSPs
• A basic knowledge of big data and digital analytics tools and platforms
• Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills
• Experience in nurturing junior talent
• Impeccable organizational skills, comfortable with multitasking and running multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners and internal specialist resources

Nine Perth is seeking a Sales Executive to join the Broadcast team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. The Sales Executive-Broadcast is the primary day-to-day contact for the media planner/buyer, and is ultimately responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our advertising agencies and clients and driving a revenue outcome for Nine – Television.

Day to day you will be responsible for:
• Creating targeted advertising schedules across all broadcast channels including 9Now based on briefs received from advertising agencies.
• Grow market share & revenue across your client base.
• Understand the market trading conditions and negotiate trading discounts in conjunction with the Group Business Manager – Broadcast.
• Facilitate the sale of program sponsorships, sports sponsorships and spot packages.
• Day-to-day contact with key agency contacts.
• Accommodate and prioritize a number of concurrent advertising campaigns.
• Problem solving within the context of the job.
• Lead, manage and mentor a Sales Coordinator

• A thorough understanding of broadcast systems and measurement metrics.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated experience within sales, within a client marketing department or within a media agency.

• An appreciation of the market trading conditions and ability to negotiate trading discounts on casual business in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• The ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
• Intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is desirable.
