Three Meerkats headed to D&AD New Bloods

MarinaVasilieva_AliceCogin_MayaHalilovic_BLOG.jpegMeerkats’ Marina Vasilieva, Alice Cogin and Maya Halilovic (pictured LtoR)  are making the trip over to Sydney for the D&AD New Bloods Workshop this Friday. They’ll be amongst 30 young creatives from all over Australia who are taking part in the gruelling battle of creative wits.

To enter they had to create a 60-second video that shone a spotlight on an issue they believed should be heard. Maya and Marina teamed up to #EndCatCalling and stop street harassment towards young girls, and Alice went it alone to change negativity towards cyclists and reduce the number of incidents on the road.

“It means at least 10% of all attendees are from Perth, which is a great sign of the fresh new talent coming through our industry,” said Meerkats CD Dan Bradley.
