That means dealing with creative, media and production people as well as clients and other members of the account service team. CLIENT BUSINESS MANAGER – STARCOM
Starcom, present in Sydney,Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, have recently set up an office inPerth. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this small team andmanage a challenging, interesting group of national and local clients.
The successful candidate will have 6-7 years in a similar capacity and be able to demonstrate the following skills/ experience:
- Responsible for the efficient delivery of services to assigned clients within the agency
- Anticipate our clients’ business needs and proactively approach them with media solutions to grow their business
- Be aware of and monitor clients’ budgets on a monthly basis
- Develop strong working relationships with other team members within the agency to ensure productive communication
- Ensure that staff are engaged in meaningful work aligned with their capabilities, skills, experience and career aspirations
- Ensure that staff are adequately rewarded and recognised for their efforts
- Harnessand deliver the combined intellectual capital of our tools, systems,processes, partnerships and methods to deliver the best possible clientoutcome
- Engage the activation and investment department to buy the media activity to maximise the client outcome
- Responsible for the development and stewardship of the client’s media plans
- Ensure adequate credit insurance is in place for assigned clients
Experience of working in the Perth market and strong media relationships is essential.

MAC OPERATOR / ART DIRECTOR – TRAVELTALK

Traveltalk Media is looking for someone to take charge of its busy art room and produce its monthly travel news magazine.
Essential criteria:
• Minimum five years industry experience
• Fluent in Mac OSX
• High level experience in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Highly competent in preparing artwork for print (Acrobat PDF)
• Basic Mac OSX IT maintenance skills
• Competent in web-based design and functionality
• Ability to work under pressure and tight time frames
• Flexible approach to design working with a ‘live’ and constantly changing document
• Ability to read and understand proof reader marks and make accurate text changes
• Competent in advertisement creation
• Superior organisational skills
• A ‘people person’ with a sense of humour and a passion for team excellence
• Must reside in metropolitan Perth, preferably in the northern suburbs.

Responsibilities
- Client and project management
- Preparing and presenting proposals working with our Business Development Team
- Liaising with external fieldwork providers
- Design and delivery of research projects (sampling, questionnaire development, analysis, reporting and presentations)
- Conducting desk-top research, in-depth interviews and facilitating client workshops
- Online surveys
- Working with our Consulting Team to develop strategic recommendations arising from the research
