TheCommunications and Marketing Branch provides a range of marketing,media management and internal and external communications services tothe Department.

These positions offer a wide range of interesting work such as:

•Researching and preparing information and data on behalf of theDepartment, the Premier or State Government Ministers for disseminationto the media.

• Drafting media releases, articles and advertising material for internal and external publication.

• Liaising with the media, ministerial offices and media advisors.

• Monitoring issues in the media and advising the Communications Manager of any relevant issues.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience injournalism, communications and/or public relations and liaising withmedia outlets, with a strong writing ability. The work is interesting and varied and provides the opportunity tobecome familiar with a range of different facilities and operationswithin this industry. These positions are based in East Perth.
