BRAND MANAGER – RED ROOSTER

Red Rooster is Australia’s fourth largest quick service restaurant chain, operating in excess of 360 stores across Australia from its head office in Balcatta, WA. Red Rooster has recently undergone significant change and has a clearly defined plan to drive the business forward and is recruiting a team of high performing personnel to bring this vision to fruition.

 

An experienced Brand Manager is required to significantly raise the profile of the Red Rooster brand. Reporting to the National Marketing Manager within a six person marketing team, and with one direct report, this role demands a passionate team player with an understanding of core principles in brand management at a strategic level, together with a hands-on “get the job done” approach.

Role requirements:

  • Undertake a total brand audit and identify, research, plan,create and execute changes across all consumer touchpoints to deliverimproved business outcomes
  • Manage relationships with Red Rooster’s nominated agencypartners, from providing detailed and insightful campaign briefsthrough to market delivery
  • Manage development of all aspects of National campaignsincluding, but not limited to, TV, radio, point-of-sale, menu boards,website and supporting internal communications
  • Provide marketing recommendations for pricing movements based on sound competitive research and commercial business acumen
  • Manage all aspects of Red Rooster’s key sponsorship partnerships across AFL and other properties as directed
  • Research, develop and implement dedicated strategies for Red Rooster Food Courts
  • Take a proactive approach to engaging with stakeholders in thefield to enhance communication and develop productive relationships
  • Develop, guide and mentor an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator
  • Financial management of all production funds ensuring adherence to budget at all times
  • Undertake other projects as directed by the National Marketing Manager or Chief Executive Officer

Key competencies:

  • Exceptional organisation and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Keen creative eye with meticulous attention to detail
  • High level communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to form close working relationships with key supplier partners for mutual benefit
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to plan, manage and execute projects / tasks to required timelines.

Your experience:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years Brand Management experience within a multi-unit retail environment
  • Proven experience developing and mentoring junior staff
  • Experience in quick service restaurants will be highly regarded
  • Experience in franchising will be highly regarded
  • Experience in digital marketing and exposure to new media options is desirable

Account Director

– Base Salary: $110k to $120k depending on experience.
