TRADE & BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS MANAGER – THE WEST AUSTRALIAN
The West Australian newspaper is looking for a highly motivated team member to work with our Advertising sales division and the diverse range of key clients that make up our customer base.
The role will support and manage programs to generate Sales and revenue. The person we are after will be experienced in Trade communications and business to business relationships. This role will develop new ideas and have a fresh approach to client rewards and event management.
Experience in a Business to business communications role , event management and rewards program implementation would be an advantage.
Job Purpose: Manage and implement a wide range of business to business initiatives, including but not restricted to promotions, events and sponsorship partnerships. Manage programmes to generate sales and revenue. Develop new ideas and have a fresh approach to client rewards and event management. Responsibilities also include Business to Business communications and relationship development. Other duties as directed by the General Manager Sales or Media Strategy Manager.

Responsibilities include providing research support material and regular reports to our sales team, record keeping and administrative duties.

The role
We’re recruiting a full time Senior Digital Producer to deliver our digital projects. Joining our producers, developers, designers, technologists and strategists, you’ll scope, plan, cost, schedule and deliver digital projects at 303Lowe Perth. This involves applying best practice project management methodologies, managing internal and external production resources, liaising with agency and client teams, and delivering on time, on scope, on budget projects to the highest quality standards and technical execution.
The skills
We’re looking for an experienced digital producer/project manager with a sparkling portfolio of work to:
- Project management
- Project manage campaign and enterprise digital communications projects from initiation to delivery.Scope, plan and production manage the project development process.
- Document and run projects with LiquidPlanner and MS Office tools.
- Run daily and weekly production meetings to allocate and prioritise the portfolio of digital projects.
- Drive quality assurance through all aspects of production, ensuring performance, transparency, accountability and measurement of project success.
- Reporting on deliverables, milestones and key performance indicators.
- Planning, implementation and allocation of project phases and tasks.
- Analysis, research and discovery to define project deliverables and set KPIs.
- Continual improvement to optimize processes and performance.
- Resource management of internal teams and external suppliers.
- Tight financial management including costing, variation and budget adherence.
- Supervision and communication
- Coach and support digital producers.
- Production manage developers, designers, creatives and account staff to meet project deadlines.
- Liaise with clients to ensure a high level of client service, transparency and collaboration.
- User experience
- Planning and managing the development of user experience activities including usability tests, prototypes, personas, interaction flows, storyboards and customer journeys.
The must haves
Of course you’ll have a sound technical knowledge of the requirements and composition of digital projects, be fully across web standards, agile and structured methodologies, have a qualification or extensive experience in project management, have 5 or more years industry experience in a digital or communications agency, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you’ve also got experience in LiquidPlanner, Scrum, software development and contract management then you really should get in touch…
