About us

Part of the Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertiliser Division, Kleenheat Gas is a major distributor of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and a market leader in providing gas services to residential, commercial, industrial, rural and automotive markets in Australia.  Through the brand Kleenheat Gas House, Kleenheat Gas retails gas appliances in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

The role

We have created a new role for an experienced Senior Marketing Co-ordinator, based in Murdoch (Perth). The role directly reports to the National Marketing Manager, and you will work within a small team. The purpose of your role is to coordinate the marketing function for your assigned product lines within Kleenheat Gas, and this is a pivotal role in increasing market share.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan marketing campaigns to grow and retain market share, in line with the marketing strategy set out by the National Marketing Manager. Measure the level of success of campaigns and report back.
  • Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry activities.
  • Coordinate the design, development and production of marketing material, including advertising (TV, Radio, Print & Outdoor), brochures, direct mail, point-of-sale materials, displays, newsletters and demonstrations.
  • Liaise with media, advertising agencies, market research firms, PR companies, printers and graphic designers on marketing initiatives.
  • Evaluate sponsorship requests and coordinate associated media, merchandise and signage requirements.
  • Communicate marketing initiatives across relevant areas within the business.

Selection criteria

  • Thorough knowledge of the WA media landscape.
  • A track record of success in similar positions, in an advertising or marketing environment.
  • Proven experience with developing brand awareness and driving growth.
  • Proven experience in the use of digital marketing.
  • Dynamic and self-driven; is able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Advertising or business related disciplines or relevant industry experience.
  • Understanding of Retail principles is advantageous.
  • Prioritises Safety for self and others in all practices.
