PROJECT COORDINATOR – THE WEST AUSTRALIAN

The West Australian is the leading media company in Western Australia, and is part of Seven West Media, the largest listed national multi-platform media business based in Australia.  We are seeking a dynamic individual to work on major projects within our successful advertising department.

Reporting to the General Manager of West Solutions, this role would see you contribute to the success of significant projects for The West Australian, including online auction click2bid, events such as the SkillsWest Expo and customer engagement program West Rewards. The role is diverse, challenging and exciting and would suit an enthusiastic self-starter with high levels of organisational, analytical and project experience.

Duties involve providing essential support to the General Manger while working on delivering on sales, marketing and technology outcomes on multiple simultaneous projects. This role requires you to deal cross departmentally with sales, marketing, digital and editorial, as well as with external stakeholders to deliver results. It is essential that you possess high levels of drive and initiative with excellent organisational skills and can handle the pressure of multiple deadlines and priorities. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project would be highly regarded.

We are looking for a highly organised, professional, and enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to join our Perth based Sales team.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager the successful applicant will provide support to the Perth Sales Team. You will be responsible for the preparation and overall presentation of high quality sales proposals, ratings analysis, sales reports and data entry.

To succeed in this role you will possess experience working in the Media or Advertising industry. You will be technically proficient and adaptable to new computer systems. You will demonstrate advanced skills in the Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  You will also possess great organisational and time management skills along with initiative and a positive approach to your work.
