DIGITAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – MITCHELL AND PARTNERS PERTH

The Role…

The Digital Account Manager position provides support to the Group Account Director by developing and implementing innovative media strategies across all aspect of digital media.

The role will initially involve close liaison with all planners and buyers to assist their understanding and implementation of digital opportunities. The position extends through to the implementation planning, buying and processing of those digital strategies for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, negotiating, buying digital and processing of media for the accounts in the Group.
• Establishing close working relationships with all digital publishers, media owners and clients.
• Evaluating media proposals and directing ad hoc opportunities to relevant clients via Account Executives/Managers .
• Client contact, receiving briefs, liaising with agency clients and working co-operatively with all planner/buyers in the Group.
• Documenting and presenting recommended digital media opportunities, plans and final buys.
• Providing ongoing campaign analysis to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the digital elements of all campaigns.
• Organising compensation in conjunction with the media publishers for under performance.
• Analysis of competitive advertising and research and evaluation of all trends in digital and other emerging media.
• Ongoing supervision of major campaign buys.
• Supervision of junior team members and mentoring of more senior planner/buyers.

Skills/Attributes/Experience required:

• Strategic thinking
• Strong communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• A strong understanding of all aspects of Australian and international digital media trends and opportunities.
• Planning/buying experience in digital media or related disciplines.
