BoganBingo_BLOG_17.jpgInitiative, Oxfam’s media agency, is going above and beyond the call of duty this year by fielding a team to participate in the 100km Trailwalker event next month.

In order to raise funds they held a Bogan Bingo evening last week, attended by 176 friends, agencies and media partners. Initiative and their brave trailwalkers would like to thank all the teams that participated, and the generous media partners who donated prizes.

Everyone got into the spirit of the night with plenty of flannos, mullets and fake tattoos on display. Some of the bogan teams included the Winnie Blues (Media Tonic), Yahooligans (The West), Stunned Mullets (Network Ten), Show Us Your Tinnies (Nova), OCDC (Val Morgan), Rev Heads (SCA), Fully Sick News (Corp) Bro, Just Holden On (Community News), 50 Shades Of Armadale (303Lowe), Lara Bingo (Meerkats), Shazz’s Preggers Again (APN), Seven Ciggy Butt Brains (Channel Seven), Goonbaggers (GWN), and A Bingo Stole My Baby (Nine Network).

Apart from the festivities there was also plenty of good will and support for the walking team of Ella Stewart, Paige English, Louise Crawford and friend Sarah Harman, who have raised over $4000 to date.

The Oxfam 100km Trailwalker event takes place on the 10th & 11th October. Since it’s inception in 1999 the event has raised over $49 Million in Australia with the money going towards education and providing access to clean water in poverty-stricken areas around the world.

Any additional donations would be greatly appreciated and you can pledge your support here.
