The good times won’t come to you which is why you need RAC Roadside Assistance

RAC Roadside Assistance has launched a new campaign “We’ll get you to the good times.” The work is a step away from the category conventions of showing distressed breakdown victims stuck by the side of the road, and humble heroes coming to the rescue. It positions the service as one that ensures you get to the good times, and leads with a 30-second brand spot, created by JWT Perth.

Wow, just wow!
Remember the old RAC ad with all the objects in the house animated? Not really relevant to this, but I was just on a YouTube mission and stumbled across this… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ULT9KQ4owg
Nice work guys!
RU Serious?!?!
Nice job guys. Nice idea, nice execution.
Is that their daughter? And why wouldn’t she be in the car with them?
Why isn’t the kid in the car? How did the kid get to the recital? What’s going on?!
Hey Back,
Thanks for the trip down memory lane!… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_WdUFhW9A0
I didn’t think twice. I just assumed it was an after school performance they (who I assume are parents) were going to. I like it. Well done.
The way I read this, the daughter has died. This has driven a wedge between her grieving parents. That’s why they are unable to face each other. At their lowest point – breaking down while driving to her grave on the anniversary of her death – the daughter turns up, accompanied by lots of other little girls (who have also presumably died.) They do a dance which momentarily brings the couple closer together. But then they disappear, leaving them both to their collective breakdowns. I like it.
Critic, that is exactly what we were going for.
Nice idea and well executed. Saw it on air and found it very engaging.
Thanks Adam, Georgie, Jess and Fan. We appreciate all constructive feedback, positive or negative. 🙂
Great work, great execution. Kudos
