News Corp WA sales representatives visited Perth agencies on last week and delivered special viewfinders, wishing teams good luck and encouraging those who hadn’t yet applied to get their entries in before the round one deadline. News will reward the Perth Agency with the most entries to the competition with a special visit from a surprise food truck.

YoungLionsViewer_BLOG_2.JPG“We are encouraging all agencies to really get behind the Cannes Young Lions competition this year,” said NewsCorp WA’s Sales Director Jay Morris. “We believe someone from a West Australian agency has the talent to go all the way to Cannes!”

Agency Sales Manager Bec Oliver said, “The competition is a fantastic opportunity for agency teams to get noticed on both a national and international stage. It’s a great chance to be mentored by influential industry leaders and let’s not forget about the amazing prizes on offer for the deserving winners”.

The winners of the round-one competition will be announced on April 17.

Entries will be judged by a panel of industry specialists and finalists will compete in Sydney in a second-round, 24-hour brief provided by each of the category sponsors.

The 2016 Cannes Young Lions competition is proudly supported by category sponsors Archibald/Williams – Print; UM – Media; and Carat – Cyber.
