The Communications Council WA presents three days of international best practice in digital production and strategy with Jenny Williams
The Communications Council will host Jenny Williams, Founder of IdeaGarden, in Perth for 3 days of industry workshops focusing on international best practice in digital production and digital strategy.
Over the past 17 years Jenny has held a multitude of leadership roles in business that deliver technology driven marketing solutions for advertising agencies and clients across Asia, America and Europe.
Working with the internet since 1993 Jenny worked in the United States as Global Director of Engagement and Project management for Zentropy Partners, McCann Ericksons interactive division overseeing strategic development for global clients. Returning to Australia 4 years ago Jenny first headed up McCann Relationship Marketing in Australia then went on to become the head of interactive for McCann Erickson Asia Pacific.
Jenny is now the principle of Ideagarden, an interactive marketing consultancy working with global and local blue chip clients developing the online marketing strategies for B to C and B to B campaigns as well as internal change management marketing. She is also an industry advocate, working with industry bodies to develop internet standards, codes of practice, training and policy development.
Managing Digital Production (2 days)
Understand the process of delivering a digital project from brief to market success and have a sound understanding of the tools, documentation, methodologies and practices available to project managers in the digital industry.

Advanced Digital Strategy (1 day)
Have a hands-on-experience learning how to determine what a client really wants and needs when they ask for a digital strategy. The course will clearly differentiate between strategy vs tactics, broad vs narrow strategies, campaigns vs transformational change.
The course will cover the process of developing a digital strategy – steps and stages, costing a strategy development, managing scope and reality checking
