The Brand Agency’s ‘Break the Barrier’ TVC continues its winning ways with Bronze at Clio
The Brand Agency’s ‘Break The Barrier’ TVC for St John Ambulance has picked up a Bronze at the Clio Awards announced today.
It continues a great run for the commercial, which has also won Silver at AdStars recently and was shortlisted at Cannes in Film Craft (Direction) in June.
The Bronze at Clio is a strong result in a tough competition. ‘Break The Barrier’ was one of only two winners from Australia in the Film Category at this year’s Clio Awards, the other being Bronze for Devondales’ Stepdad Steve’ by DDB Melbourne. The same agency also got Australia’s only other shortlisting – for Devondale Smoothies ‘The Teacher’.
“To be recognised along with some of the most famous and successful brands in the world, particularly in the film category, is very rewarding particularly considering the campaign is producing such fantastic results in terms of people booking first aid courses”, said The Brand Agency’s Creative Director, Craig Buchanan.
The television-led campaign has produced an increase in first aid enrolments of 34 per cent for St John Ambulance WA.
Winners in other categories including Audio (in which Marketforce has 3 shortlists for Internode) and Direct (in which 303Lowe Perth has 1 shortlist for IKEA) are being announced later this week.
The Clio Award ceremony will be held on October 1 in New York.
