The Brand Agency taps into the relationship between a farmer and his son for CSBP campaign
The Brand Agency has produced its first campaign for CSBP, the major fertiliser supplier for WA farmers, since winning the business from Marketforce in June.
To overcome increasing competition in the market, the new campaign uses television as an emotive reminder of the CSBP brand proposition. The campaign also includes regional press, digital and direct mail. The TVC taps into the relationship between a farmer and his son. It portrays their connection to the land and is based on the insight that many farms in WA have been handed down over the generations. The commercial was shot by Perth director Corrie Jones through Goodoil Films on farming properties near Brookton in WA.
Brand’s ECD Garry Horner said: “This beguilingly simple idea has been beautifully realized by Corrie and his obvious love of the narrative and performance is there for everyone to see.”

Thats a lovely spot, nicely shot Corrie!
Well done Warrick that’s a really lovey ad.
Perth director?
Good work guys!
Corrie is a Perth boy and proud of it ! Great spot by the way.
Nice ad. Not going to sell any of the “Stuff”
But nice ad.
I can’t ever remember seeing anything this good done for this client before. Well done Brand
Very nice.
And 3:59 PM, it isn’t a massive departure from the previous campaign in theme or quality. It even uses the same lead actor.
As the main buyers of fertilisers are militant islamists and disaffected right-wing extremists, it is safe to assume this probably won’t boost sales much. But it is a lovely spot. Corrie and Allan done well again.
How nice to see a tvc that doesn’t shout at you, isn’t full of fast cuts and a hip hop sound track. Well done guys.
Well done guys, lovely spot.
It is a great spot and for the record, the lead actor , the boy, has never appeared in a CSBP ad before. The dad, was an extra in a previous spot, big deal.
* high five uncle woz *. Good on you for slogging through more of Fordy’s stories for another shoot 😉
Fantastic spot Warrick, Allan and Corrie! Was that GM free Canola in the paddock 😉
Setting the record straight,
Okay, so he wasn’t the lead. But the spot uses the same actor playing (I assumed) the same Dad from the previous, similarly themed and also very nice campaign.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the spot and think Corrie and Allan both did a great job. Well done to them both and The Brand.
Also well done to Garry, who played a significant part in this, as did Ian Ford.
That’s the way…keep them coming.

Concepted, written and art directed all on his own.

Woz, love it!
Great job Brand.
a nice reminder of how you can turn something completely rational into a emotional spot. must’ve been a great brief 😉
good job woz! love boozy
