A revitalised The Brand Agency leads entries for the 2011 Campaign Brief Awards

The Brand has 24 creative awards entriesplus 2 Campaign of the Year entries. They’re followed by Meerkats with 23creative awards entries plus 1 Campaign of the Year entry. Marketforce has 18creative awards entries and 2 Campaign of the Year entries, and 303 has 17creative awards entries and 3 Campaign of the Year entries.

Brand, Marketforce and Meerkats are theonly agencies with entries in all 8 creative awards categories.

Eleven agencies overall have entered theawards, including Busselton-based Jack In The Box.

The biggest category – and one of thestrongest – is Out of Home with 28 entries, followed by Radio (Single) with 18,Press (Single) with15, and Radio Campaign and Television (Single) with 13 each.There has been a big drop in TV (Single) entries, down 10 compared to lastyear.

Overall, entries have held up well after adifficult year. The total of 111 is just 3 fewer than last year. While thenumbers are static, the standard has definitely improved, with Press Campaignand Radio Campaign the strongest they have been for two years.

The creative awards plus Agency of theYear, Ad Person of the Year, Advertiser of the Year, Supernova of the Year,Media Organisation of the Year and Campaign of the Year will be presented atthe spectacular Oasis Ball being held in Burswood’s Grand Ballroom on Friday, March 18.
