The Brand Agency launches iSlice Golf app
The Brand Agency has launched a public relations campaign to promote the iSlice Golf application for iPhones.
iSlice inventor and Mt Lawley Golf Club Pro Duncan Kegg says the app trains your hands to stay in the right position as you move through your golf swing.
“95% of golfers come to me wanting advice on how to fix their slice,” said Kegg. “Using the iPhone’s built-in accelerometer, the iSlice Golf app monitors the position of a golfer’s hands and forearms at six critical stages of their golf swing. The iPhone becomes an extension of the clubface, the app tells them if they’re in the right position and if not, where they should be.”
“A golfer’s clubface rotates 90 degrees from addressing the ball to thetop of the backswing. The iSlice Golf app detects the rotation of theclub on the way up, on the way down, at the time the club would hit theball and on the follow through.”
Kegg, who has been the golf pro at Mt Lawley for nine years, says hestarted work on iSlice Golf in November last year and approached Perthbased company, ASC Software for their technical expertise.
The iSlice Golf app is currently available at a special price of US $2.99
