TABESHFAR INVITED TO JUDGE AWARD
303 copywriter Dav Tabeshfar is Perth’s representative for this year’s AWARD Awards judging panel. Tabeshfar will sit on the Radio jury. A total of 80 judges from Asia, New Zealand and Australia have been invited to join the jury. David Nobay, Creative Chairman of Droga5 in Sydney has been appointed the Chairman of Judges by the AWARD Committee.
“It seems a bit rhetorical to say this appointment is an honour, but frankly it is. The committee has pulled together quite a line-up of talent, and to be asked to direct them (if only from the shadows) is a fascinating, if intimidating, opportunity.“ says Nobay.
Judges are spread over 9 panels, each having its own individual Chairman from the AWARD Committee. Finalists will be released in October, and the winners will be heralded at the AWARD Awards Presentation Evening on Thursday November 27th at The Overseas Passenger Terminal, Sydney. Judges, AWARD Members and extended industry will celebrate together at the KODAK AWARD New Director of The Year & AWARD Judges cocktail party on Wednesday September 17th at BLUE Sydney Hotel.
AWARD Management are currently processing the thousands of entries, and will release the official entry tally across all categories in the coming weeks.

Nice one Dav. Nice that they actually know you are alive and resisted the urge to invite the usual names.
Take your folio Dav!
Well done Dav. Fly the flag for WA and say hello to Brendon from all of us.
Sorry, but… WTF?
Gee, the other 4 people who wrote the radio ads with him must feel a little ripped off.
Jealousy 1.39?
Good work Dav!
Dav’s such a nice guy he’ll probably push for other WA agencies’ work – unlike some other big-name local spoilsports in years gone by
Dav’s such a nice guy he will judge each piece on it’s merits. There is no way the Perth judge on any jury can push work. It doesn’t work like that. Also 7.57 your logic doesn’t add up. Check out the latest AWARD annual and you will see that Tinning was on the panel that saw The Brand Agency’s work included.
5.25pm doth protest too much, methinks.
Hey 7:57. You’re obviously a student right? Well, I’ll take it that you are anyway. Now, I’m not calling you a dickhead but what you’ve posted is quite possibly what a dickhead would write. But, as you’re a student we must give you the benefit of the doubt don’t we?
Award judges don’t work like that. They’re not going to push WA work just because it’s WA work. It has to be worthy. No judge is going sabotage their reputation trying to push sub standard work and especially Dav.
As for your comment on the big-name spoilsports. Well, I’d bet you’d work for any of them if you had the chance now wouldn’t you. Well, don’t worry, only three years to go and you might yet eh?

Sorry Dav, but this has been done before by Andrew Tinning and Mike Edmonds to name but two
