Spencer Battista emerges as new Head of Digital Creative team at The White Room
One of Perth’s leading creatives, Spencer Battista (pictured), has joined Claremont agency, The White Room, as its Head of Digital Creative.
Battista has re-emerged after a brief hiatus from agency work, having spent the last eight months consulting, and building on his digital and social media portfolio.
“I’ve spent hundreds of hours in different environments over the past several months, working with new and exciting digital and social media platforms,” said Battista “I have learnt and grown so much professionally during this period.”
Battista joins the leadership team and founding partners of TWR, Jon Sharp, Managing Director and Damon Pattinson, Creative Director. Pattinson said they were excited about Battista joining the team.
“We’re very lucky to have Spencer join us. He’s one of the best creative minds going around.” Pattinson said. “We’re experiencing a period of rapid growth and expansion, particularly in digital and social media. Spencer will be integral to the success of that area of our agency.”
Battista’s impressive CV includes years of experience with several of Perth’s high profile creative agencies, including John Davis Advertising, FCB Shorter and Clemenger. Battista resigned as a Director of Cooch Creative in November 2013, an agency he co-founded in 2003.
He is also the immediate past-President of the Perth Advertising and Design Club.
“I feel completely re-energised career-wise and am thrilled to be part of a leading edge, innovative team,” Battista said. “The future is looking bright…and White.”
