Snap chooses Equilibrium
Snap has appointed East Perth digital advertising agency, Equilibrium, to its $2.3 million national account following credentials presentations at the end of 2010.
Snap Chief Executive Officer, Grant Vernon (pictured), said he and his team were excited at appointing Equilibrium as their marketing agency partner, and were confident Equilibrium personified a culture that Snap could connect with.
“Equilibrium were able to demonstrate significant creative flair, combined with substance in integrated campaign strategies which stood out from the field of candidates that we considered,” he said.
Snap Franchising Ltd is a major international print and design business operating a franchise network under the Snap brand in Australia with 147 franchises, as well as outlets in Ireland, China and New Zealand.
Equilibrium Director, Warren Gibbs, said the appointment was an indication of the confidence Snap had placed in Equilibrium’s strategic and creative capabilities, and a growing trend for major clients to look outside the traditional agency model.
“We were extremely pleased to be able to show why we believe our business would be a good fit with the Snap brand.Being a national B2B account we were able to effectively demonstrate strategic opportunities utilising online and offline channels which we are confident will help Snap meet their growth objectives in 2011,” he said. “The win capped off a great 2010 for Equilibrium and sets the scene for an exciting year ahead.”
In August last year, Snap unveiled plans to transform itself into an all-encompassing advertising agency that caters specifically to small businesses and make it less reliant on the shrinking printing market for revenue.
The company launched two new services – Snap Level 2′ and ‘Snap Promote’ aimed at achieving revenue growth of 16 per cent over the next three years. In the same period, Snap aims to open a further 53 stores around Australia, taking the total number to 200.
