That was AWESOME! Wish something like that would work in Perth x
You wish…only 10 years to wait.
What’s so AWESOME about it? As far as I can see it’s just footage of a large group of people and a well known entertainer singing along to an iconic pop song.
If you were to take your T-mobile camera phone to any large rock concert, festival or soccer match you would get exactly the same spontaneous footage.
What exactly is the idea? The current campaign line for T-Mobile is ‘Life is for sharing.’ So, if the idea is that this is just a feelgood-film that will be passed around, then I am sure that’s exactly what will happen and the ad will be a success but I wouldn’t say that this is AWESOME.
At least the previous execution had an idea in it. Seeing hundreds of commuters breaking spontaneously into dance in Liverpool Street Station, then carrying on with their business is not something you see everyday, and is something I would definitely want to share.
As far as the campaign goes for me – this doesn’t make it better.
