SHED’s first television commercial has native animals speaking out for themselves

Animals.jpgHere’s the first tvc to come out of the SHEDcsc and it’s for a very worthy cause. Every year Native Animal Rescue cares for almost 3000 native animals and birds. Their goal is to help them recover, then release them back into their natural habitat. To do this, they rely almost entirely on public support in the form of donations and volunteers.

SHEDcsc is the new agency formed by former Marketforce CD Andrew Tinning and former AdImpact CD Drew Ridley.

Andrew Tinning said: “When Drew and I were approached by ZZ’s Maggie Speak to help develop a campaign for Native Animal Rescue, we both jumped at the chance. It’s a great cause and even though chickens are not technically native animals, it’s one we are both proud to be involved in. They are adorable creatures in need of your support, so our solution was to let them speak for themselves. To make it happen required the time and efforts of a very dedicated team of highly skilled collaborators.”

“Dave Wood did a fantastic job directing the rather unorthodox cast. Mick McDermott shot some beautiful pictures on his amazing new Alexa digital camera. Bruce from Firstlight Digital weaved his editing and post production magic as did Justin Braine in the sound suite at Brainestorm.”

“Getting a blue tongue to wrap his lips around the script was no mean feat, but it was made possible by my great friend and colleague Stephen Douglas and his team at Post Modern Sydney. Special thanks must go to Flame Artist Kristian Whitlock who did a fantastic job within a very tight time frame.”

“Drew and I would both like to thank Maggie and Lizzie Aravidis from NAR for the opportunity.”
