SEVEN’S PUBLICIST HEADS EAST

Channel Seven recently put on a great going away party for their PerthPublicist, Brigitte Doucet (pictured on right). Around 100 people fromPerth’s media industry turned up to the Box Deli to farewell Doucet,who is recognised as one of Perth’s top publicity professionals. She ismoving to Sydney and will next month take up a publicity role with 20thCentury Fox. Replacing her at Seven Perth is Emily de Vries (picturedon left) who joins from the Program and Promotions department at MIX94.5.

“Emily is bright, energetic, talented and just the person totake on the very important publicist role at Seven. That’s why wegrabbed her.  I want to pay special tribute to our Brigitte who alsomade the transition from radio to TV just under five years ago and inthat time made her own way to become this state’s leading TV publicist.We wish her all the happiness and goodwill that she thoroughly deservesin her move to Sydney”, said Ray Wardrop, Program and CommunicationsManager for Seven Perth (pictured above center).
