Seven of Australia’s top creative directors judge the 2016 Campaign Brief Awards
The 2016 Campaign Brief Awards will be presented at the gala Oasis Ball in the all-new Crown Perth Grand Ballroom this Friday night.
The 16 awards include 9 creative awards covering Press, Radio, Television, Out of Home, Online and Integrated Campaign.
It was a strong year for entries. In total, 138 were received with all categories having several contenders for the coveted Best of Year title.
They have been judged by some of Australia’s most senior and highly-credentialled creative directors:
Rob Belgiovane – Group Chief Creative Officer, BWM Dentsu
Cam Blackley – Executive Creative Director, BMF
Warren Brown – Creative Founder, BMF
Justin Drape – Chief Creative Officer & Co-Founder, The Monkeys
Garry Horner – Founder & Creative Director, Matterhorn
Grant Rutherford – Creative at Large and former Chief Creative Officer, Publicis Mojo
Toby Talbot – Chief Creative Officer, DDB Australia
In addition to the creative awards, 7 industry awards will be presented for Media Organisation of the Year, Helen Filov Media Agency of the Year, Supernova of the Year, Challenger Agency of the Year and Ad Person of the Year, culminating with the night’s two major awards – Advertiser of the Year and Agency of the Year.
It’s a wide open field, with several agencies putting in excellent submissions.
Our new Challenger Agency of the Year category has been a revelation, highlighting some outstanding work and innovation by smaller agencies.
As ever, it’s going to be a brilliant night with a few surprises along the way. If you’re going to the Ball, make sure you pick up a copy of the special edition of Campaign Brief magazine with the details of all the winners and finalists. It will be available at the end of the night after the awards.
It will also be sent to all subscribers next week.
