Satterley slips quietly into Marketforce
Property developer Satterley Group has moved its business to Marketforce after a short review.
Marketforce chairman John Driscoll said while he and Nigel Satterley had ‘bumped into each other’ often over the years, this would the first time they worked together.
The account was previously with Bowtell Clarke & Yole, which has handled it in part since 2002 and almost entirely since 2004. BCY’s Richard Clarke was bitterly disappointed with the loss.
He said the relationship on the business changed when Debra Shorter (ex-LandCorp and Marketforce) became a marketing consultant to Satterley and Hope Barr (ex-Cedar Woods) joined as marketing manager, while Nigel Satterley himself became less directly involved in the day-to-day marketing and advertising activity.
“Working with Nigel Satterley and his outstanding team from 2002 to 2008 was an enjoyable experience for everyone at BCY and we wish him and his impressive new Chief Operating Officer, Nick Perrignon, every success.”

Sorry to hear that BCY.
Frankly I’m stunned by this decision, and I bet I wouldn’t be alone in thinking this?
Get over yourself 3.27.
Well done MF obviously they are busy hauling in new clients and not leaving pissy comments on the blog.

MF need to ensure that the ratio of clients being hauled in is equal or greater to that of clients currently being hemorrhaged
Yes well done MF, shame none of the other agencies in town could take on an account cause doesn’t everyone already have a land developer…?
What a shame, I’m sorry to hear this BCY. I know how hard everyone worked on this account and how fabulous the relationship used to be with this client. Sounds to me like this is a case of a new marketing team trying to proof themselves by making unnecessary decisions. I only hope their friends at Marketforce and Gatecrasher can provide half the attention they got from BCY. Looks like there’ll be a couple of conflicting clients up for pitch, don’t they have Mirvac and Banksia Grove respectively?
mf have had mirvac and landcorp together so satterly should be fine. And whats Gatecrasher got to do with it?
6.03 Had you proofed your post, you would have realised it’s “prove” not “proof.” Vote confident grammar.
I only hope they’re friends at Marketforce. And Gatecrasher can proof the tension. BCwhY? Looks like there’ll be a couple bitches. Respect.
