Samantha Marlowe joins Guru Productions

Samantha Marlowe has joined Guru Productions as the company embarks on ambitious expansion plans for more WA content production for Nine Entertainment Co.

Guru Productions has announced another talent addition to the Subiaco production houses line up with the appointment of Samantha Marlowe. Marlowe will join the team in March to work on the slate of television content in production for 2022.

Guru Productions and Nine Entertainment Co are celebrating 20 years since the first episode of television, The Garden Gurus was produced for broadcast on Channel 9 in WA. In 2021 Guru Productions produced 7 different lifestyle series of television content for NEC with 93 episodes produced out of their Hay Street Subiaco Studio’s. In 2022 Guru Productions will introduce two new TV series and have extended the content delivery for state based and national programs to 150 episodes of television for broadcast in Australia in 2022.

Marlowe has a great pedigree working with talented producers such as Cody Greenwood (Rush Films) and Ray Pedretti (Blizzard Road Productions) to deliver series such as Outback Car Hunters, Kidnap Case Files, Desert Collectors and feature documentary’s such as Under the Volcano and The Beeman. Her collaboration in A Girl Like You as a co-producer saw the film win several awards. She joins the team in an editing role after the recent appointments of David Holroyd and Chris Binns in Head of Production Documentary and Factual and producing roles.

Guru Productions has several factual and lifestyle projects in development currently with advanced plans to develop more content in the documentary, drama and factual genres.
