SA Health & 303Lowe ask South Australians to ‘Think Positive’ about mental illness
303Lowe, Perth and SA Health recently launched the “Let’s think positive” campaign which aims to put an end to the stigma of mental illness.
The campaign serves to improve general community perceptions of people who suffer from a mental illness, by provoking them to stop and think, and ultimately change the way they describe or treat someone with a mental illness.
Derek Wright, SA Health’s Executive Director of Mental Health and Substance Abuse, said the campaign is an ideal way to engage the public and raise awareness. “We anticipate that the far-reaching scope of this campaign will spread the message of understanding and help South Australians better empathise with those around them.”
The campaign runs across TV, press, outdoor and online.

Nice performances Andrew.
Who did the audio?
Nice work, well done.
A bit on the nose?
Really nice ads, the acting… not so much.
Ordinary. Missed opportunity.
Nice direction and colour grading.
Dull and for such a highly charged topic, strangely lacking emotion. Personally, i put this down to poor direction.
This concept only works if you can read the supers and listen to the dialogue at the same time. Unfortunately, it’s impossible for humans to do this. So nice thought, unless of course humans were your target market.
No Creative Director? Maybe that might have made the difference?
Come on, this is a great ‘on paper’ idea that’s been turned to hilarious nonsense by the acting and the direction.
The Acting is amazing.
“Mental Health” is an oft too used excuse for bad behaviour these days. If someone acts like a tool, they just claim a mental illness and get prescribed some drugs.
