UBER_BLOG.jpgAlternative taxi service UBER is giving free rides this week to anyone in Perth who downloads the Uber app and registers as a rider.

UBER is a smartphone app to book private drivers to pick you up in minutes. UBER is in over 220 cities around the world, including New York, Sydney, London, Paris and now Perth! 

“We’ve seen a fantastic response to Uber in Perth since we launched in July. We’re really looking forward to seeing how riders react to Free uberX Week” said Harrison Kennedy, Marketing Manager. “Whether you need to go to work in the morning, to meetings during the day or home from after-work cocktails, uberX will get you there safely, reliably, conveniently – and for free.”

Kennedy said uberX, the low-cost service, is 20% cheaper than a taxi.
