Radio legends Burgess and Blackley team up on Sunday mornings on Forever Classic 6IX

Forever Classic 6iX has announced two Perth radio icons –  John Burgess and Ian Blackley – will be joining forces on Sundays from 9am to 12noon from September 2, thanks to Mi Casa Lite.com.au

6IX General Manager Evan Broadway said “Burgo and Blackers are both Perth radio legends. We felt there was a gap for some fun that’s not re-cooked or re-heated across the weekend. The beauty of this partnership is that they’re already great mates, so the chemistry is there straightaway. Each week the boys will have a look at what’s been making news locally, nationally and internationally while putting their distinctive spin on it! 

Program Director Brad Pottinger said “Just like a fine wine, these two get better with age. Although their combined age is higher than our FM frequency (105.7) they are still just under the AM frequency (1080). The show is called Burgo and Blackers BS…we’ll let you work out what the BS stands for.”
