WABusinessNews.jpgThis week’s WA Business News carried their annual Branding Survey and for the second year running the RAC topped the list as the most recognised brand. In second and third place, again for the second year running, were Bunnings and HBF. The WA Business News survey is restricted to brands originating in WA or with special significance in WA and is compiled following a survey of local advertising, marketing and PR agencies.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Lotterywest (up from 6th to 4th), iiNet (not ranked last year and now 5th), Bankwest (dropping one place to 6th), West Coast Eagles (down from 4th to 7th), Wesfarmers (not ranked last year and now 8th), Woodside (not ranked last year and now 9th) and Little Creatures (not ranked last year and now 10th)

The comprehensive eight page coverage of the survey also includes five other tables – Best Employer Brands (Wesfarmers and Curtin Uni), Top Corporate Brands (Fortescue Metals Group and Wesfarmers), Top Emerging Brands (Fortescue Metals Group and iiNet), Most Improved Brands (iiNet and Murdoch Uni) and Top Underachieving Brands (Bankwest, Evans & Tate, The West Australian, West Coast Eagles and Synergy).
