President Mark Braddock & Vice-president James Hawkes outline a new vision for the PADC
Perth Advertising & Design Club President Mark Braddock and Vice-President James ‘Cheese’ Hawkes have produced a document that outlines their vision for the Club after “…many, many conversations about the future of the Club with individuals from all corners of the commercial communications community.”
It’s a bold but carefully thought-through strategy that includes a re-structure of membership fees and bringing the annual awards – to be called the Skulls – more into line with the national AWARD awards.
Most importantly, it seeks to broaden the appeal of the PADC.
In an email to PADC members, Braddock & Hawkes said: “While opinions vary vastly, there is consensus that a place exists in the state for a body that is the voice of the individuals who create commercial communications; a body that champions and builds our creative community, a body that encourages and helps emerging talent. We believe that the PADC has a future in being that organisation.”

Nice job boys.
Agreed. Nice job. Particularly like the idea about showcasing member talents to business. Without this, we’ll go from being a specialist service to a simple commodity.
Great to see a positive and clear vision for the club. Look forward to seeing how it all evolves.
