Perth Radio Survey 4/2014 results released
There’s a familiar look about GfK‘s Metro Radio Survey 4/2014 released today.
Mix 94.5 retains top spot overall, recording a 15.1% share of People 10+followed by Nova 93.7 on 11.8% and 96FM on 11.1%. Non-commercial JJJ – #2 last survey – dropped 2% in this survey to be 5th behind ABC720.
JJJ also lost substantial ground in P18-24, down -5.9% but was #1 overall in the demo on 23.8%. Nova 93.7 was the #1 commercial station, followed by Mix 94.5 (19.1%) and 92.9 (17.2%).
The pattern was similar in P25-39: JJJ was #1 overall on 19.4% despite dropping -3.1%; Nova 93.7 was next and the #1 commercial station on 18.2%, followed by 92.9 (15.4%) and 96FM (13.9%).
Mix 94.5 dominated the 40-54 and 55-64 demos on 22.7% and 16.6% respectively. 6iX enjoyed a good result in 55-64s, rising to third overall and #2 commercial on 12.9%.
ABC720’s Eoin Cameron was #1 in Breakfast again with 15.0%, but Mix 94.5’s Clairsy, Shane & Kymba on 14.3% narrowed the gap to just 0.7%.
Mix 94.5 recorded the highest Average Audience P10+ on 34,000.
Nova recorded the biggest Cumulative Audience P10+ with 514,000 as well as the biggest single session Cume Audience – 312,000 in Breakfast.
